March 21, 2014 - Took advantage of a break in the almost unending winter snows, ice, sleet, winds, etc. to uncover the camper. We've kept it dug out all winter in case the overwhelming urge to travel hit us. The original plan was to loosen the tarps enough to get into the side door and check for leaks.
Once we started unhooking bungee cords, the wind sprang up - of course.
Easier to take all the covers off at this point. Half way done and the nose and front looks good.
We took a lot of time last fall putting it away with a good wax job. Other side looks good.
Maybe instinct said to go check the camper cause this is what waited as we opened the door. Decon did the job but he must have just died as wasn't decomposed at all. No idea how he got in because we had duct taped all the openings except the upper refrigerator vent and no way was a mouse climbing that high. A little bit of mouse poop in the rear barn so we'll investigate further
Camper looks great except it's not sitting somewhere on the truck in the warmth. Soon!
